Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SERPINB13 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SERPINB13 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher SERPINB13 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SERPINB13 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and HNSC show a favorable association.
KICH, KIRC, and LUSC are the cancer types where SERPINB13 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
