Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SERPINB12 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SERPINB12 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher SERPINB12 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SERPINB12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

KICH, BRCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where SERPINB12 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
