Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SERPINA6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SERPINA6 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SERPINA6 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SERPINA6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
BRCA, LUAD, and SKCM are the cancer types where SERPINA6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
