Across TCGA patient cohorts, SERINC2 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 82 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SERINC2-associated genes across cancer lineages are AVPI1, PRELID3A, and TMPRSS2. Each is linked with SERINC2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SERINC2-to-partner and partner-to-SERINC2 results are reported.
