Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SERGEF Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SERGEF data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher SERGEF Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SERGEF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where SERGEF Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
