Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEPTIN7P12 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SEPTIN7P12’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where SEPTIN7P12 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SEPTIN7P12 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
STAD, BRCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where SEPTIN7P12 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
