Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEPTIN7P11 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SEPTIN7P11’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where SEPTIN7P11 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SEPTIN7P11 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as BRCA and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LIHC, BRCA, and THCA are the cancer types where SEPTIN7P11 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
