Across TCGA patient cohorts, SEPTIN5 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 33 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SEPTIN5-associated genes across cancer lineages are ERK2, FoxM1, and p62 Lck ligand. Each is linked with SEPTIN5 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SEPTIN5-to-partner and partner-to-SEPTIN5 results are reported.
