Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEPTIN3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 29 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SEPTIN3 data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher SEPTIN3 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEPTIN3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and UCS show a favorable association.

MESO, ACC, and UVM are the cancer types where SEPTIN3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
