Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEPTIN2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SEPTIN2 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher SEPTIN2 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEPTIN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, HNSC, and LUAD are the cancer types where SEPTIN2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
