Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEPTIN14P17 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of SEPTIN14P17’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where SEPTIN14P17 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types SEPTIN14P17 is over-expressed in tumor.
PRAD are the cancer types where SEPTIN14P17 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
