Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEPTIN12 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SEPTIN12 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 1 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher SEPTIN12 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEPTIN12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and HNSC show a favorable association.

KIRP, KIRC, and LIHC are the cancer types where SEPTIN12 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
