Across TCGA patient cohorts, SEPSECS mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 13 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SEPSECS-associated genes across cancer lineages are MEK1, ACC1, and JNK_pT183_Y185. Each is linked with SEPSECS in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SEPSECS-to-partner and partner-to-SEPSECS results are reported.
