Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SENP3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SENP3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher SENP3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SENP3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and SKCM show a favorable association.
KIRP, BLCA, and SKCM are the cancer types where SENP3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
