Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEMA7A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SEMA7A data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher SEMA7A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEMA7A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SCLC, UCEC, and THCA are the cancer types where SEMA7A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
