Across TCGA patient cohorts, SEMA6C protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,702 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible SEMA6C-associated genes across cancer lineages are HSPB1, SRSF3, and ACVR2B. Each is linked with SEMA6C in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SEMA6C-to-partner and partner-to-SEMA6C results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, SEMA6C versus HSPB1 in UCEC, with a Pearson correlation of -0.47.
