Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEMA4B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SEMA4B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SEMA4B mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEMA4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD, CCRCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where SEMA4B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
