Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SELENOV Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SELENOV data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher SELENOV Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SELENOV expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, SKCM, and ESCA are the cancer types where SELENOV Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
