Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SELENOS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SELENOS data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher SELENOS Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SELENOS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

UCEC are the cancer types where SELENOS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
