Across TCGA patient cohorts, SELENON RNA expression is significantly associated with the protein abundance of many other proteins, with 9,265 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SELENON-associated proteins across cancer lineages are MTDH, PLOD1, and TMEM94_S1354. Each is linked with SELENON in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SELENON-to-partner and partner-to-SELENON results are reported.
