Across TCGA patient cohorts, SELENON protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,435 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SELENON-associated genes across cancer lineages are CD276, P3H1, and MFGE8. Each is linked with SELENON in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SELENON-to-partner and partner-to-SELENON results are reported.
