Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SECTM1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SECTM1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher SECTM1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SECTM1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SCLC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where SECTM1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
