Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SEC22B RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SEC22B data layer compared with 1 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), where higher SEC22B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SEC22B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and KIRC show a favorable association.
CESC, LGG, and HNSC are the cancer types where SEC22B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
