Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SDF2L1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SDF2L1 data layer compared with 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SDF2L1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SDF2L1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and OV show a favorable association.
UVM, UCEC, and ACC are the cancer types where SDF2L1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
