Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SDF2L1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SDF2L1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher SDF2L1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SDF2L1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and COAD show a favorable association.

CCRCC, PDAC, and GBM are the cancer types where SDF2L1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
