Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCUBE2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SCUBE2 data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher SCUBE2 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCUBE2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and HNSC show a favorable association.

BRCA, HNSC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SCUBE2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
