Across TCGA patient cohorts, SCT mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 8 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SCT-associated genes across cancer lineages are USP9YP2, RNU6-1309P, and RNU6-1187P. Each is linked with SCT in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SCT-to-partner and partner-to-SCT results are reported.
