Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCPEP1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SCPEP1 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher SCPEP1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCPEP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
KICH, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where SCPEP1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
