Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCNN1D RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SCNN1D data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SCNN1D RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCNN1D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and PAAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, KIRC, and KICH are the cancer types where SCNN1D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
