Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCNN1D Mutation is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SCNN1D data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SCNN1D Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCNN1D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC, READ, and LUAD are the cancer types where SCNN1D Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
