Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCN4B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SCN4B data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher SCN4B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCN4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LGG, UCEC, and SARC are the cancer types where SCN4B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
