Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCN2B RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SCN2B data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher SCN2B RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCN2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LGG show a favorable association.
LIHC, LUAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where SCN2B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
