Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCN2B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SCN2B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher SCN2B Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCN2B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, LUSC, and SKCM are the cancer types where SCN2B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
