Across TCGA patient cohorts, SCN1A protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,941 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SCN1A-associated genes across cancer lineages are SOX10, NEFH, and MCM5. Each is linked with SCN1A in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SCN1A-to-partner and partner-to-SCN1A results are reported.
