Across TCGA patient cohorts, SCIMP mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 56 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SCIMP-associated genes across cancer lineages are ATP2B2-IT1, RNU6-709P, and NUTF2P8. Each is linked with SCIMP in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SCIMP-to-partner and partner-to-SCIMP results are reported.
