Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCGB2B2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SCGB2B2 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher SCGB2B2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCGB2B2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
ACC, CESC, and SKCM are the cancer types where SCGB2B2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
