Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCGB2A1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SCGB2A1 data layer compared with 19 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SCGB2A1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCGB2A1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC and UCEC are the cancer types where SCGB2A1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
