Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCGB1D1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SCGB1D1 data layer compared with 15 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher SCGB1D1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCGB1D1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUAD, COAD, and BLCA are the cancer types where SCGB1D1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
