Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCG3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SCG3 data layer compared with 3 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher SCG3 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCG3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and UCEC show a favorable association.

UVM, LGG, and UCEC are the cancer types where SCG3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
