Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCFD1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SCFD1 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SCFD1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCFD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LSCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where SCFD1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
