Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SCARB2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SCARB2 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher SCARB2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SCARB2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

LSCC, GBM, and PDAC are the cancer types where SCARB2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
