Across TCGA patient cohorts, SCAPER mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,270 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SCAPER-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR302C, MIR623, and CCL5. Each is linked with SCAPER in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SCAPER-to-partner and partner-to-SCAPER results are reported.
