Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SBF2-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SBF2-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher SBF2-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SBF2-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CESC and KIRC show a favorable association.

LIHC, CESC, and KIRC are the cancer types where SBF2-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
