Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SAYSD1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SAYSD1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher SAYSD1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SAYSD1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
KIRC and LUSC are the cancer types where SAYSD1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
