Across TCGA patient cohorts, SARS2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 4,438 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SARS2-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNA5SP451, MTATP6P21, and CCDC34P1. Each is linked with SARS2 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SARS2-to-partner and partner-to-SARS2 results are reported.
