Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SARM1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SARM1 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher SARM1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SARM1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LIHC, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where SARM1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
