Across TCGA patient cohorts, SARAF protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,804 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible SARAF-associated genes across cancer lineages are GSR, PPP2CB, and LEPROTL1. Each is linked with SARAF in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both SARAF-to-partner and partner-to-SARAF results are reported.
