Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SAR1B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SAR1B data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher SAR1B mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SAR1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and CCRCC show a favorable association.

HNSC, COAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where SAR1B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
