Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SAPCD1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated SAPCD1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher SAPCD1-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SAPCD1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and STAD show a favorable association.

SKCM, GBM, and LIHC are the cancer types where SAPCD1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
