Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, SAMD5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated SAMD5 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher SAMD5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated SAMD5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
ACC, SARC, and UCEC are the cancer types where SAMD5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
